Founded in 1973, the Royal BVI Yacht Club is a busy sailing club with a thriving youth, racing, cruising and social calendar.

We are honoured to have the Royal Ascent and proud to be recognized by World Sailing as the National Authority for sailing in the British Virgin Islands.

The RBVIYC is a registered non-profit organization serving the BVI community. All funds raised are dedicated to supporting youth sailing in the British Virgin Islands.

What a fantastic morning at the King�’s Birthday Parade on Friday! 🎉

A big thank you to all our members who came along and proudly represented the yacht club as we celebrated His Majesty’s official birthday.

We had a wonderful time together, enjoying the festivities and showcasing the great spirit of our club. Thank you to everyone who participated!

What a fantastic day on the water for the Lowell Wheatley Anegada pursuit race! ⛵️☀️

With 3 monohulls and 8 trimarans taking part, we were treated to great conditions, competitive racing, and an amazing group of sailors.

And they're off! The monohulls have started the 2026 Lowell Wheatley Anegada Pursuit Race. First away at 08:15 was Marentia de Villiers on Off the Clock, next up James Campbell on Jitterbug at 08:37:41 and finally at 09:24:52 Libertas skipped by Kevin Wrigley. Who will reach Anegada first?! The multihull fleet will begin their race with Ting a Ling starting first at 10:45.
